These terms apply to pcgaming.io, its tools and the pcgaming.io Windows app (together, the "service"), provided by AppsDoc LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA. By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the service is
pcgaming.io gives information about PC games and hardware: requirements, specifications, compatibility checks, scores and frame-rate estimates. It is free to use. Nothing on the site is professional advice.
Estimates and accuracy
Frame rates marked "estimated" come from our prediction model, not from measurements, and real results depend on settings, drivers, game patches and your system. Specifications come from manufacturers and publishers and can contain errors or change without notice. Compatibility checks cover common rules and cannot catch every case. Always confirm critical details, such as fit, power and socket support, with the manufacturer or retailer before you buy. See how our numbers work.
Your account
You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- scrape, copy or republish our data or pages in bulk, or use automated tools that put unreasonable load on the service
- try to break, probe or get around the security of the service
- submit false or manipulated scores or benchmark data
- use the service for anything unlawful
We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these terms.
The Windows app
The app reads hardware information to calculate your score. It does not modify your system or interact with running games. It is provided "as is"; install it only if you accept that.
Content and trademarks
Our text, data compilations, scores, design and code belong to AppsDoc LLC. You may link to any page and quote small parts with a link back. Game names, artwork, hardware names, logos and product images belong to their owners and are used to identify their products. Third-party images are credited on the image credits page. pcgaming.io is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel or any other manufacturer or publisher.
Links, prices and affiliate links
We link to other websites, including stores. We are not responsible for their content, prices, stock or products, and any purchase is between you and the store. Some links may earn us a commission; see the affiliate disclosure.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, AppsDoc LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on estimates, specifications, compatibility results or third-party content. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes and ending
We may change the service or these terms. If we change the terms we update the date at the top, and continuing to use the service means you accept the new version. You can stop using the service at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring claims in your local courts.
